Control stress
Some days are just crappy. We all have bad days. We make mistakes, miss deadlines, and sometimes people just piss us off.
Exercise provides a healthy outlet to release stress and other bad feelings. It's also a very good antidote for depression.
Your body is the source of your strength, physical and mental!
A strong body builds confidence and creates better life balance. Exercise simply helps you feel better about yourself and that makes you stronger in any area of your life.
Learn that you can do it
Usually each exercise session has a goal: do 100 push-ups, complete a yoga class, or run x numbers of minutes. Once you accomplished your goal, you can transfer these feelings of success from the gym into other parts of your life.
Get some “Me Time”
These days our lives are quite busy. Expectations have increased, work hours getting longer and email and text messaging kills the rest of our time. We are expected to be available 24/7. However, if you do exercise regularly, then there are at least 60 minutes each day when you're not on your computer or cell phone.
Self-care is very important. Everyone need some down time. At the same time you exercise you can also meditating and reflecting on the day's events.
You are much more productive when you are a whole, healthy and feeling good about yourself. Exercise is a great prescription for a happy and successful life.
