Biography

I was born and raised in the heart of the Swiss Alps. In the meantime, I moved my home base a bit closer to Zurich but making sure that the mountains are still close by. Over the past twenty years I’ve been skiing, hiking, climbing and camping all over the globe. It was during this time I discovered my passion for photography and realised that the most beautiful places are literally right in front of me.

As an adventure & lifestyle photographer I shot pretty much everything that is somehow connected to the outdoor industry. This includes photographs of professional athletes who push their sports and mind to the limit but also the average outdoor enthusiast who loves spending their spare time in nature. As an athlete I have a thorough understanding, high level of technical skill, and passion for the subjects I photograph.

The outdoor world inspires me and I’m always searching for new wild, isolated places and offbeat landscapes. I travel the Swiss Alps extensively to always find new hidden gems and to document human interaction with these wild environments. These remote locations come with great opportunity for landscape and fine art photography, and other passion of mine.

I also enjoy teaching. As an adventure and lifestyle photographer I will show you how to use your camera in wild and unforgiving places. How to maintain productive in pouring rain, subzero temperature and gusty winds. But you will also learn the basics of your camera, what to look for when taking a photograph and discover many more tips & tricks.

My goal is to inspire you, to get you outside and explore your surroundings while having fun and taking great photographs.
